Flowers blanketing areas all across Cape Town

Just driving through the suburbs one can see the majesty of nature at work as flowers in bloom dot the parks and grass areas in our suburbs. Just look at the fields of flowers at the field alongside the park in De Grendel Avenue, Bothasig.

September is here and that means Spring has arrived.
Although the weather may not reflect it yet and at times it still feels like we are in the heart of winter one cannot deny that warmer weather is on the way.

This can be seen all around the Western Cape with flowers blooming and blanketing areas all over Cape Town.  Many have already started flocking to the areas outside our city in order to witness the splendor of nature at work, seeing beautiful fields of colourful flowers blooming.

SANPARKS across Cape Town offer free entry for a full week, from 12 to 16 September giving captonians a chance to see the amazing flora that grows in our region.

If you’re a South African resident and you pop into a participating park between Monday, 12 and Friday, 16 September 2016, you don’t have to pay to explore. Some of the parks this year in the Cape region include the Bontebok National Park, Garden Route National Park, Tankwa Karoo National Park, Table Mountain National Park (excluding Boulders Penguin Colony and the Table Mountain Aerial Cableway) and West Coast National Park. So pack a picnic basket, grab your family and go for an adventure somewhere beautiful!
