Nissan Micra Vehicle Review (December 2018) by Casey Black

If you are like me and have an idea of the Micra, you will understand my utter surprise when the Micra was delivered to me.

The design is one of a sporty hatch with a sharpening to the front and a high rear featuring rear lights bulging. The interior is impressive with a clear design and funky seats. The steering wheel is leather trimmed and adjustable and has neatly placed controls on either side. The gear lever is slightly raised and makes gear changing easy and comfortable.

There is an infotainment screen with options on the side and this is neatly edged in chrome. The air-conditioning is directly below this. LED day-time running lights, electric mirrors, front electric windows, cruise-control, Bluetooth streaming and telephone.

The interior has cream color inserts on the doors and in the dash and the black, chrome and cream together create a superior, luxury feel and the chrome spoke on the flat-bottomed steering wheel creates a sporty feel.

As mentioned earlier, I was most surprised and impressed with the Micra. The gear-change indicator guides you optimally through the 5 gears. Hill assist is ready at an incline and stop-star displays the CO2 saving.

The Micra is a comfortable ride and the concealed rear door handles create a smooth flow of the lines from front to back.

It is compact enough to be nippy and easy to maneuver and also looking smart enough to have a head turn. I was certainly impressed with all the Micra had to offer and again, I was pleasantly surprised.
